Piano

Grace started learning piano at the age of 3, and continued to take lessons until the age of 18. Because her mother was also a piano teacher (and still going strong!), she developed a passion for teaching and sharing music with the next generation. Grace also took private piano lessons at the University of Washington during her undergraduate studies. Although flute became her main instrument, she still plays piano as part of her praise team at church. She also accompanies her flute students and enjoys playing duets with her piano students.

From 2020-2022, Grace went back home to Vancouver, WA, where she taught group flute, piano, and kindergarten music classes at a local music school, Opus School of Music. Aside from her group classes, she had a thriving private studio of 50 students learning flute and piano.

Currently, Grace has been building her own flute and beginning piano studio. Her goal is to make it easier on the families schedules by traveling to their homes. With a thriving studio in the neighborhoods of Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish, Bellevue, Grace has been successfully equipping students with a strong love and foundation for music.

Away from music, Grace enjoys spending her time with her family and friends, finding new parks, and finds any spare time to soak in the rare PNW sun.
